Julian Charter School Smart Card Fundraiser Runs Through October 23

This year we are once again offering our parents a great opportunity to support Julian Charter School and save money. This year Smart Card offers discounts to over 500 great local places, plus Smart Card has a NEW Cash Back Savings program which brings you savings to over 1,000 Online Vendors! A one-year membership is only $30 and JCS receives 50% of that amount for each card sold.

Support the San Diego Learning Center by Eating Pizza at Woodstocks on September 17!

Please join us for a fundraiser benefiting the San Diego Learning Center on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 from 5-7:00 p.m. at Woodstocks Pizza. The restaurant is just down the street in the Vons shopping center on the corner of College and El Cajon Boulevard.

Bring the attached flyer to the restaurant and order anything off the menu. The flyer will let the cashier know you are from Julian Charter School. The Learning Center will receive 20% of all the profits raised between 5-7:00 p.m. on September 17. You must present the flyer (or a copy) the cashier when ordering.

Upcoming Plant Sale at the San Diego Learning Center

We are pleased to announce that JCS will be starting a gardening class at the Learning Center. To help us get things going we are asking everyone to please donate any potted plants, vegetables, fruits, etc. that you have for an upcoming fundraiser. We are also accepting any gardening related supplies or cash donations. The PLANT SALE (fundraiser) is scheduled for Friday, September 5 delayed until October.  That means we need your donations as soon as possible.
