JCS Science Club-Tin Can Racers Competition

The JCS Science Clubs will be holding their Tin Can Racers Competition this week on various dates and locations across the counties. Murrieta Science Club - December 5, 1:00-3:00 p.m.
Desert Science Club at the Community Center - December 5, 10:00-11:30 a.m. at the Murrieta Meeting & Resource Center

Wednesday’s 3:30 p.m. –5:30 p.m. on the following dates:

Parents must stay with their students at all times for this activity.

Meeting Dates and Times:
Reading Club will meet on the 1st Thursday of each month at the Elementary Learning Center in Murrieta, located at the Salvation Army Facility. We will meet from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. during Fall semester on the following dates:

Hiking Club Outing on Mount Rubidoux-Friday, September 12

Have you ever wanted to take a hike but didn’t know where to go?
Have you ever thought, ‘Can I really make it to the top of that mountain?’
Well…join us!
Where: Mount Rubidoux
When: Friday, September 12, 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Why: For lots of fun and great exercise
Who: Students K-8 (Parents must accompany child)
What do I bring?: A bottle of water and endurance
What should I wear?: Tennis shoes and comfortable clothes
There is no need to RSVP. All are welcome. Younger children are also welcome. The path is wide and paved, strollers are fine. We will start the hike promptly at 9:30 a.m.. The hike is a total of 3 miles but if you feel you can not do the entire climb you can simply turn back.
There are no restrooms or drinking fountains.

Directions: (Riverside) Head East on the 91 fwy. Exit 14th St. and go Northwest/left. Go 2-3 miles and pass cemetery. Cross over Palm/Redwood and make left on Glenwood. Follow around to base of hill and we will be there waiting.
