Updated: Scoliosis Screening For 7th Grade Girls & 8th Grade Boys

Julian Charter School is offering scoliosis screening for 7th Grade Girls & 8th Grade Boys on March 25 at the Murrieta Meeting and Resource Center and April 7 at the San Diego Learning Center. The screening is offered to students at no charge to the parents.
What is scoliosis?
Scoliosis is abnormal curvature of the spine.
Possible symptoms of scoliosis are:
- Prominence of one shoulder blade
- Poor general posture
- Clothes not fitting properly (skirt hem or one pant leg uneven).
- Uneven shoulders or hip bones
Keep in mind that having any of the above does not necessarily mean there is a serious problem.
