Pre-configuring Your Computer To Access the Elluminate Classroom
In order to participate in the Elluminate online classroom, you will first need to run some checks on your computer and verify that your system has the correct applications installed for it to work properly. If you run into any problems with the pre-configuration, then you should contact Elluminate technical support at Toll Free: North America: 866-388-8674, option #2
Entering Into Your JCS Elluminate Classroom
When entering in the Elluminate classroom (link to be provided by your instructor), you will enter as a Guest. If you don’t have an email address, then just use mrbell@jcs.org as the email address to enter the classroom. Be sure to use your first and last name so that we can count attendance.

Issues With Internet Explorer Versions 6, 7 & 8
If you are using Internet Explorer to access the classroom, then the browser may block the automatic download of the temporary file needed for the Elluminate session. We have created a very brief demonstration on how to get around this problem.

Elluminate provides direct technical support for most issues you will experience. We request that you first contact Elluminate when experiencing an access issue or problem. The support providers generally know their product the best and will resolve the issue in most cases.
If Elluminate is unable to resolve your issue, then please send an email notifying both your instructor and Chris Bell (cbell@juliancharterschool.org) of the issue you are having. Please be as descriptive as possible and let us know what Elluminate said when you contacted them. We will follow up with you for more information and to make arrangements for remote desktop support.
