Elluminate Spring 2010
Home Study Grades 6-8
Attention middle school students and parents! JCS is once again offering live online classes in math, writing, literature, science, and technology. The classes are small and designed to support what you are doing in home study and the best part is that you can attend from the comfort of your own home! Because we are still piloting this program, there are no EUs being charged for these classes!
Classes will begin on January 25, 2010 and end on May 25.

Class Requirements & Prerequisites
Students who have not previously used Elluminate will be required to attend an online training class that will last approximately an hour. Please see the list of training dates to the right side of page. You will select your preferred training date when you complete registration.
Students need good keyboarding skills and access to a computer and the internet.
Students need to be at or above grade level for Writing and Literature Classes.
Students need good study skills. There will be weekly reading and writing assignments.
Students need excellent attendance! Any student who will not be present for all 15 weeks will need to wait until fall 2010.
How to Register
Registration is now closed. Please look for new classes to be offered in the Fall 2010 semester.
Please Note
UPDATE DECEMBER 2, 2009: Closed classes include: Core Literature Reading Level 6-7, Pre-Algebra & Writing 7-8
Semester-length classes are limited to 15 students, therefore completion of the registration form does not ensure enrollment.
Microphone headsets and curriculum will be mailed to students once enrollment is finalized and confirmed through email. If you have already taken a class with JCS, then we will assume you already have a headset unless otherwise notified.
