JCS Indoor Soccer Review-May 9, 2008

Julian Charter School Indoor SoccerIn the JV game today, the San Diego Galaxy wrapped up the league title with an impressive 8 to 5 victory over the San Diego Earthquakes. Alyssabeth led the way for the Galaxy with 3 goals. Jonathan did a fine job controlling the ball and added 2 goals while Blake, John, and Cody scored 1 goal each. Thomas, Caleb, and Andre were excellent on defense. The Earthquakes were led by Muhammad and Tristan with 2 goals each. Kyle also scored a goal for the Earthquakes. Once again, William played very well at the goal tender position as he saved numerous shots. David, Faith, and DeRon showed superb effort and played well on defense for the Earthquakes.

In the first varsity game of the day the San Diego Jaguars bested the Pine Valley Pumas by the score of 7 to 2. Leading the way for the Jaguars was Nemo with 2 goals. Scoring 1 goal each were Ethan, Alexa, Kristen, Chris, and Robert. Hashem was outstanding as the goal keeper. The Pine Valley squad was led by Summer who scored both goals.

The final game of the day saw the Alpine Coyotes defeat the Pine Valley Pumas 7 to 2. Aaron led the Coyotes with 4 goals. Alicia, Kai, and Mike also scored for the first place Coyotes who remain undefeated. Summer and Scott scored for the Pine Valley Pumas.

Next Friday’s schedule has the San Diego JV teams playing at 2:00PM. In the varsity division the 3-0 Alpine Coyotes will kick it off against the 2-1 San Diego Jaguars at 3:00 p.m..
