Learn the craft of composting with a backyard compost system, or vermi-composting (worms). Besides finding your own solution to pollution, you will be create amazing nutrient rich soil amendment for your own use. This two hour workshop will help you understand your family’s waste stream and how to make an impact on reducing it. Lesson plans and suggestions for continued learning on your own about nature’s perfect recycling methods also available.

Come learn the mechanics behind the images you love. You can bring your own SLR digital camera, or have use of photographer’s professional equipment. One enlarged image upon completion of class is included in the fee. Online private gallery and critique available during class. Class meets on location throughout San Diego County and Temecula. Susan Wingate is an award winning photographer and published author/photographer; her students have also won awards (Summer 2009 Del Mar Fair: 4 First Place awards in individual entries).

Mission: Renaissance, an approved JCS vendor in Orange County, will be offering fine art instruction in the 2009-2010 school year. They are the world’s leader in fine art instruction.
- Step-by-step Individualized instruction for children, teens, and adults.
- Year-round classes and seasonal art camps.
- Ages 5 years - adult
They teach traditional fine art based on techniques used by the masters and passed to apprentices. Anyone can learn to draw and paint using The Gluck Method.
