PARENT ORIENTATION for home study students enrolling for the 2009-2010 school year will take place July 22 at 1:00 p.m. at the Murrieta Meeting & Resource Center. The orientation will be for all grade levels. Come learn about the various opportunities JCS has to offer home study families and best practices for student success.
- Registrars will be assisting with pre-enrollment paperwork
- New families should bring
- Student’s Birth Certificate (New students only)
- Immunization Record
- Dental Assessment Form (K or 1)
- Health Checkup Form (K or 1)
- Unofficial Transcript (High school only; if available)
- Unofficial Copy of CAHSEE scores (10-12; if available)
- Copy of Current (09-10 or 08-09 school year) IEP or 504, if applicable
- Meet the K-8 Assistant Director, High School Assistant Director and the Director of Education
- K-8 Curriculum Experts will be available to discuss and show curriculum selections available for students
- Learn about the various curriculum offerings including Discovery Streaming and Compass Learning.

Former JCS Students Win Big at the Tony Awards!
June 9, 2009
Former JCS students, Kiril Kulish and David Alvarez-Gonzalez recently won the prestigious Tony Award for “Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical”. Kiril and David are currently sharing the lead role with one other performer in Billy Elliott, the Broadway musical which also won in the category for “Best Musical”. The Billys historic win was the first time three actors have shared a Tony Award for the same role. Kiril Kulish was quoted as saying, “to all the kids out there who might want to dance, never give up!” Congratulations boys!
