JCS Flag Football Update (10-31-08)

On Thursday, the San Diego Middle School Jaguars “B” Team nipped the Jaguars “A” Team by the score of 18 to 13 by virtue of a touchdown pass on the final play of the game. The “B” team was led by their quarterback Micah, as he threw touchdown passes to Imalia, Nick, and Corey. The “A” squad, with some fine running by Chris and superb catching by David, came within one play of winning the game. The two JV teams will meet again next Thursday at 12:00 p.m. at Clay Park.
In Friday’s early game the Murrieta Hawks (4-1) defeated the San Diego Jaguars in a hard fought and well-played game by the score of 13 to 7. The contest saw a very strong defensive effort by both teams, the difference being a Hawks interception early in the second half leading to the deciding touchdown.
In the late game the Alpine Coyotes (3-1-1) beat the Pine Valley Pumas (1-4). Great defense and some timely offense were the keys to the Alpine victory.
Next Friday, the Murrieta Hawks will play the Pine Valley Pumas at 1:4p.m. and the Alpine Coyotes will meet the San Diego Jaguars at 2:45 p.m.
Twist’N'U E-Club on November 20, 2008

Come participate in a unique gymnastics class for 1 1/2 hours. We will have experienced coaches guiding you through a typical session. Twist’n’u has trampolines, air track, rock climbing wall, bars, balance beams, and so much more. The best thing is that you will only need to pay $5 per student!!! Please be advised a parent or guardian will need to complete a waiver before student participates.
